Action for Botton Chair nominated for regional community award

23 July 2015

Action for Botton chair Neil Davidson is being nominated as a candidate for the annual Community Champion award organised by Coastal View and Moor News magazine.

2015 is the fourth year of the Coastal View Community Awards Event with the award presentation being held at the end of October and the magazine is urging people to nominate “their community champion, a person who you feel deserves to be acknowledged and thanked for the work they do”.

Many Action for Botton supporters feel that Neil’s pivotal role in the campaign to ensure the preservation of shared living at the Botton community and that the volunteer Co-workers should also continue to play a key part in life at the community for the learning disabled should be recognised, and are urging people to vote for Neil as the 2015 Community Champion.

The voting form can be found on page 39 of the current issue – just follow this link.
